What imitation crab has to offer.
One memorable and “luxury” meal from my childhood formulated on a small bag of $3.19 imitation crab. This 5-inch bag of fake crab has the capacity to make or break your pasta dish. When I was young, my mom was feeling creative making dinner and threw together some random ingredients… and nonetheless my diet changed forever. Pasta, cooked imitation crab, cooked peppers, garlic powder and parmesan cheese: All the necessary ingredients for a quick and easy meal, one that you will think about daily and crave incessantly.
I always loved it as a kid, always begging for it for dinner, but little did I know I’d be 19 years old making this in my college dorm every other night. The simplicity of the packaged crab, and the mere 20 minutes total to prep and cook it is in the very nature that should make this meal a hot commodity. I clearly have a lot of love for this meal, whether it is because it’s tasty, or because it’s a staple meal from my childhood, I’m not sure. All I know is this needs to be on everyone’s plates by dinner time tonight!!
